Is it possible (and safe) for us to replace this part of our microwave door. Our present one is cracked?

Hello Janet, Thank you for the question. Yes, other customers have replaced the Door Panel on their own. You will need to remove the 3 screws on the inner door and gently pry it off, which will allow you to access the outer panel and door handle. Just be careful the door glass does not drop out from underneath as the frame is removed. Remove the handle and attach to the new Panel and reinstall. We hope this helps!
