Easy to do.
1. Kudos to sales representative. 2. Knob did not have marking. Directions did not mention or say to reuse old knob. 3. Regulates refrigerator temp perfectly. Freezer temp should be 0. Only to 14.

The fridge is constantly running. The freezer works but the fridge is too cold (items freeze in the fridge). Tried turning down the temp, but the fridge did not cut off when turned to the lowest setting. Would this be the part I need to solve this issue?
For model number ET20NKXDW10
Hi Dain, Thank you for the question, Yes it sounds like you need to replace the Temperature Control Thermostat Kit. This part keeps the refrigerator at a constant temperature. If the appliance is too cold or too warm you may need to replace this part. Hope this helps!

My refrigerator is so cold that it is freezing the liquids. A repairman has replaced the thermostat twice and it still freezes liquids. Is there another reason for this and how can i fix this. I would like some info before i call this repairman back for the third time.
For model number 106 9650382
Hello Kathy, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: bimetal defrost thermostat, defrost timer, defrost heater, air baffle (damper), and the evaporator fan motor. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

Hello! My refrigerator is running constantly (except when in defrost mode), and the freezer section is too cold. So far the fridge is at an okay temperature. I think the thermostat has gone bad, because no matter the setting on the knob to control the fridge temperature, I don’t hear the "clic" anymore. Am I right? Is there a video with a similar model that I can watch to help me remove the control box so I can test the thermostat with a multimeter? Thank you!
For model number ET18PKXFW01
Hi Emilie, Thank you for reaching out. If the refrigerator is running constantly except during defrost mode, the most common cause is condenser coils being dirty. If the Coils are clear, you may have a faulty Temperature Control Thermostat. We have linked a How to Video for you. It is for the Light Socket, however shows how to open the Control Box. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!

Hi, i have had temp issues with my fridg. Stopped making ice, freezer temp dropped. I did a real good job of cleaning the coils, which id always did periodicly. I also cleaned the blades of the fan. It all seamed to recover after a couple of days. Makes ice again. But ice cream is mud. I took temps of freezer and fridg. Fridg 45 and freezer 23, i think should be 0. The only thing that i see that isn't quite right, is that the fridg temp control dial is binding. I have both dials on 5. When i was cleaning i noticed water in the defrost tray. Thanks for your help.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your inquiry. Where the refrigerator and freezer sections are too warm there are a few parts that you will need to test to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the capacitor, the defrost timer and condenser fan motor. The I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
