Outer boot clamp is rusted and i plan to replace it. I figured i would also replace the entire boot seal at the same time. I've watch videos on the process and there appears to be 2 boot clamps and outer and an inner. I have found the part number for the outer clamp but cannot seem to find the part number for the inner clamp. Is it a separate part of included in the boot seal? Thanks!
For model number WM2016CW
Hello Jerry, thank you for your question. The two clamps are part numbers Clamp Assembly Part Number: PS3524025 and Clamp Assembly Part Number: PS3517812. They are sold separately from the door boot seal. I hope this helps!

My front load washer smells badly and i notice the mold inside the rubber piece is really gross - can this rubber piece be replaced fairly simply? And where do i get the "name" of that part?
For model number WM2016CW
Hi Leilani,
Thank you for your question. The part you are looking for is referred to as either the door boot seal or bellow. The part number listed under your model number for the part is PS3535198. It can take some time to install the part. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the door boot seal. The washer in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS1766023. Here is a link where you may view the video, https://www.partselect.com/PS1766023-GE-WH08X10036-Door-Boot-Seal.htm?SourceCode=15. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I see that the door boot gasket for LG model wm2016cw is shown as part # ps3535198 without a drain port. My LG shows model # wm2016 / 01. Does this model # with the /01 distinguish it from the model# without the /01 and the need for a different part with a drain port? I cannot determine on my unit whether it has a drain port or not until i can view the gasket upon disassembling my machine. If it helps here is the serial # 905kwel04064.
For model number WM2016CW / 01
Hello Steve, Thank you for the question. Very sorry but both models list with and without ports, so you would need to check the boot on the appliance to know what option your model requires. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
