Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This convection fan motor is designed for use within various models of ranges/ovens and is a genuine OEM part. It heats the inside of the appliance through the use of a fan and the airflow it creates. This fan motor comes as an individual part without the attaching fan or hardware to secure it. If you hear scraping and scratching noises coming from the fan assembly at the rear of the range, or if the fan is not rotating, this motor is likely damaged or worn-out and in need of replacement. Failure to do so will result in poor heating throughout your range and generally poor performance throughout. To replace this fan motor, you will need a screwdriver and wrench and will need to first disconnect your range from power. Then you can pull the range out from the wall and remove its rear panel. Disconnect the wires connected to the fan motor terminals and remove the securing hardware for the fan motor, which can now be replaced with the new fan motor. Reassemble the rest of the rear panel and connect your range back to power and test the fan motor.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

good part works as expected
The part was correct. The shipping box was partly open and not packed well. The plug was bent and a plastic corner was bent. The part still worked as expected.
