The microwave is not heating the food or nothing that we put in it. What could it be?

Hi Martin, Thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you may want to check. You should take a look at your door switches, diode, and capacitor. Test those parts and if you find that they are working correctly, it may be your magnetron that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.

Microwave makes a weird sound when pressing start button, and then nothing heats up. No other issues with rest of the unit. Was cooking pasta on the burner right below it prior to this happening.

Hello Doug, thank you for writing. If the microwave is not heating up, you will want to consider either the Micro Switches parts PS3522738 and PS3529293, the Magnetron part PS3517729, or the High Voltage Diode part PS3528799. We hope this helps.
