How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Exact part and installed in 15 minutes.
I can now use my oven again without it shutting itself off randomly. Only took 15 minutes to install. I only wish I ordered a new face plate too because the circuit board doesn’t come with one. I had to use the old face plate which didn’t come off easily. Regardless, I’m sure I saved hundreds doing it myself with minimal effort.

Updated, but correct, part.
This was an updated control panel for my stove, to replace the original that failed. Replacement was easy, but for two caveats:
1) After accessing, the face plate had to be Carefully peeled off the old part and affixed to the new one. There was enough adhesive left on to attach it to the new one. You can buy a new face plate, but it cost more than the control!
2) Before removing the individual wires from their connections on the old panel, I put masking tape flags on the wires and noted the connection numbers on them for each wire. You can also switch one wire at a time, but I like doing it the hard way!

Is this what is called display module control board? Which is what is needed for error code f4?
For model number JGBS80SEM1SS
Hi William, thank you for reaching out. Error code F4 indicates an open or shorted oven temperature sensor. You may need to check the sensor harness and harness connection between the oven sensor and oven control. If the wiring is fine, then you may need to replace the temperature sensor, part number PS953423. We hope this helps!
