Hi. When we place a glass in the front opening in the freezer door and depress the actuator arm (it might actually be called the paddle assembly part #70) to get water or ice, most times this arm does not return to the home position and water will run onto our floor until we quickly manually pull the arm forward to stop the flow of water. I sprayed wd-40 on the springs and shaft of this arm to lubricate it in hopes of stopping the sticking of this arm in the depressed state. Is there a better way of dealing with this problem?
For model number GE #PSE25KSHBHSS
Hello Mark, thank you for your question. The first parts we would recommend replacing to fix this issue are Recess Door Spring Part Number: PS285013, Dispenser Door Assembly or Flapper, Part Number: PS964304, Dispenser Door Recess Crank Part Number: PS291908. I hope this helps!
