The gasket works fine.
The part was in great condition and came fast. Installing the gasket was a little more complex than expected. We were expecting to just snap the gasket in place. The gasket on my KitchenAid refrigerator is actually retained by metal strips attached to the door with screws. The screws and strips also hold the shelving on the door in place. We were a little surprised when we were removing the old gasket and the shelves came off the door. Once we realized the dual purpose of the screws the installation went okay.

Kenmore elite bottom freezer refrigerator. Need to replace the gaskets on the french doors. The numbers you have listed are very confusing so as to know what are the correct ones.

Is there a right and left door gasket for this refrigerator?
