The freezer is not defrosting. I checked the defroster timer and it is good. Do you think it’s the defrost thermostat?

Hello Phil, thank you for writing. If the defrost thermostat fails to shut off the defrost heater, the fuse will blow in order to shut off the defrost heater. If the fuse blows, the defrost system will not work, and the refrigerator will not defrost. The Defrost Thermostat is PartSelect Number PS303473. Good luck with your repair.
