This is far to simple to even be a worthy story ,other than that the cause is a bit interesting. My wife had placed a plastic cutting board and some meat into the oven to get it away from my counter-cruising dog. Later, without remembering the cutting board she turned the oven on to "broil." The timer was out. Decided to repair other parts due to the fact that the stove had not been used in 3 years.
First I removed the back of the stove. Then I removed the two screws that hold the top element. I then reached into the oven and removed the element. Replaced the element and screws. I then took the timer out by removing the two screws and unpluging four wires. I replaced the timer the same way I took it out.

Looking for a stronger oven rack to take the weight of a dutch oven (16 30 lbs). GE gave me a part number wb48x5099 but the dimensions don't match. I need some help finding a rack that'll take the weight. Possibly wb48t10063?

I am looking for self cleaning type oven racks. Do you have them?

Hello Joseph, thank you for your question. The only replacement rack we have for this unit is PartSelect Number: PS249755. This is not a rack that is safe to be in the unit during the self clean. In fact, most manufacturers recommend removing all racks, no matter the type during the self clean process. If you are having a hard time cleaning the racks, remove them and place in a garbage bag and cover with oven cleaner. Leave the racks in the bag overnight and clean in the morning. The debris should be easy to remove at that time. I hope this helps!
