Introducing the GE Broil Element, a key component for your range. Situated at the top of the oven, this quality piece supplies the heat for broiling, acting as a primary element in enhancing the efficiency of your cooker. It's important to disconnect electrical power from your range before installing this handy addition. As a precaution, we recommend wearing work gloves to shield your hands during installment. Reliability and performance are integral to GE's design philosophy, making this broil element a great choice for upgrading your kitchen appliance. With GE's Broil Element, oven broiling is made simple, effective, and efficient.

When setting the temperature and pressing Start - the stove beeps after two seconds. The stove did not warm up at all. The broil element does not light up at all. Do I need a broil element and temperature sensor?
