changed from nat. gas to lp gas..did not have orifices and had to order from ya'll.
I built a island/bar for this unit. tiled it and everything and spent hours hooking up the gas and electric for the igniter only to discover the orifices for lp gas were not with it..bummer. I went online and found your website. best search I ever did. I ordered the parts and received them in a couple of days. very good. I replaced the orifices in a few minutes( i used a nut driver and a pair of needle nose pliers to pick up the orifice i dropped inside..whew) and we were cooking. Man I love that Texas cooking,mama...I would send pictures of the completed project but it expanded. I now have a new sink and countertop done. Actually remodeled the kitchen, all that from some little orifices? My wife loves it and so do the kids.

Hello Angie, Thank you for the question. very sorry but you would need to be with the appliance to know if it is converted to LP gas. You will need to check the setting on the gas valve to see if it is set for LP or Natural. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

We bought a gas GE stove. The former owners used it with LP, we have Natural gas. Do we need to buy new orifices or a regulator? The burners & oven work, it just seems to not have enough of a flame. Any advice you provide is greatly appreciated.

Hello Chris, Thank you for your inquiry. The orifices for natural gas are smaller that the ones for liquid propane as natural gas is fed at a smaller pressure. We have researched the model number you have provided and to convert back to natural gas, you would need to purchase the orifice holders, which contain the NG orifices. On the control valve, you would need to flip up the cap and flip the pin that is underneath of it, then unscrew and flip the orifice on the other side. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Unable to turn off ignitor, which part do i need to replace
For model number JGP933BEK2BB

Hi Tony, Thank you for your question. If the ignitor is not turning off, then the issue is likely the spark igniter switch and harness assembly and you will need to replace it. This harness assembly has 5 igniter switches already wired into it. It includes the igniter switches and the complete wire harness for all the surface burners. The igniter switches ignite the fuel for your cooktop. If one of the igniter switches has gone bad, you will need to replace the entire assembly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
