I need to replace my igniter on my cooktop. I have retrieved what is on my model, but does not look like the picture that matches my model. It has a male brass stem approximately 1/4 “ that connects to the wire harness. I was unable to upload pictures

Is there a video showing how to replace this exact igniter?
For model number GE gas cooktop model zgu375LS igniter module
Hello John, thank you for reaching out. We have found some relevant instructions to replace the igniter. These instructions may not be of the same exact model, but will help you with the process. Remove the burner caps and burner head assemblies. Remove the burner ring locking nut. Then remove the orifice tube from the center of the burner base. Lift the burner base and disconnect the wire terminal from the spark electrode. Remove the clip to remove the igniter. Follow the same steps backward to install the new igniter. Glad to be of help!

Thank you for directions to remove and install this igniter.......however, you did not mention the spring ??
