Belt rolls to back of pully rubs back of drum should i just replace belt or can the pully be worn out too
For model number MAH5500BWW

Hello David, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the belt is wore out and stretched and not sitting on the pulley securely. I suggest replacing the belt, PartSelect Number: PS2003327. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

The washer belt rubs on the back of the tub and will not stay on the wheel. Do I need a new bearing and wheel?
For model number MLG2000AWW

Hi Chris, I would inspect the belt to make sure it is not damaged. This is the most likely part to get worn out. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Washer was so loud in the spinning cycle it sounded like a jet was taking off
We took the washer completely apart. Replaced the bearings, pulley and
belt. We decided to replace anything that involved the spinning cycle while we had it all apart.
It was well worth the time and effort we put into it. It works like a chime
and is very quiet . Silence is golden ! Hopefully it will work another 18 years.
