This genuine drive/spinner pulley is a key component that connects the motor’s drive system to the spin basket, enabling high-speed rotation for effective water extraction during the spin cycle. Designed for durability and precision, it helps resolve issues such as poor spinning, wet clothes, or loud noises caused by a worn or damaged pulley. Installation restores proper performance and reduces vibration, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Washer was so loud in the spinning cycle it sounded like a jet was taking off
We took the washer completely apart. Replaced the bearings, pulley and belt. We decided to replace anything that involved the spinning cycle while we had it all apart. It was well worth the time and effort we put into it. It works like a chime and is very quiet . Silence is golden ! Hopefully it will work another 18 years.

I replaced belt and belt migrates to back of tub and is rubbing into outer tube. Does the pulley have raised edges on both sides to prevent from belt coming off. The pulley I have now has a raised edge on outside, but is smooth on inside next to tube. Has that raised edge been worn off.
For model number MAH6500AWW

The washer belt rubs on the back of the tub and will not stay on the wheel. Do I need a new bearing and wheel?
For model number MLG2000AWW
Hi Chris, I would inspect the belt to make sure it is not damaged. This is the most likely part to get worn out. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
