Partselect the easy way to get parts no more driving all over
I ordered the wrong deck but I had parts on hand to build a push mower. This deck was shorter so I ordered and engine spacer assembly. I will take a little more time next time I get a deck . this build is running great so I put a. Deck wash fitting and put anti seize on the wheels axles now its easy to push.i will run it again next weekend after I put on the spacer, with the blade low it will hit stuff that can go under the deck and hit stuff or the operator. Ill be ready to start another project soon. I was glad to learn about partselect the last time I went to 1st source the building was closed down and out of business, the other branches are to far away to drive

Although the Original deck was rusted and collapsing , the mower was extremely reliable.
Anyone attempting this probably doesn’t need my tutorial but I would add this: closely inspect, clean and repair or replace any hardware as needed. You’ll be glad you did.

Where is the model number located on this type of lawn mower.
The Troy bilt push mower.
Hi Geneve, Thank you for asking. The model number can be located on top of the frame of the mower. Rear left side of the deck. On the left side of the frame. On top of the engine cover or on the back of the blade housing, near the discharge chute. We hope this helps!
