This impeller is an authentic manufacturer replacement part, designed for use in leaf blowers. It is made of plastic and measures 7.5 inches in diameter. The impeller can be found inside the blower housing, where it generates the blowing force needed to clear leaves and debris. The impeller rotates at a high speed, which allows it to pull in air from the environment. This air is pushed out of the leaf blower through the discharge nozzle. If the blades on the impeller become unbalanced, either because they are bent or broken, the leaf blower will not be able to create the necessary blowing force. Additionally, if the impeller body is cracked or worn down, it will be unable to rotate and draw air in. Pull the faulty impeller from the motor shaft and clean the surrounding area. Carefully place the new one on and secure it with the appropriate retainers.
