This is a genuine Troy-Bilt replacement part. The oil plug is designed by the manufacturer for use in blowers, trimmers, and edgers. This part is made of high-quality plastic, and comes with a flexible rubber O-ring. It is placed in the engine cover assembly to prevent leakage, or allow oil to drain out when the plug is removed. No tools are required when replacing these parts.
