So this time when I installed the guard, I removed the knife blade and drilled all the way through to the outside of the guard, and then reinstalled the knife with a through bolt and nut. Cutter for feeder broke off and required replacement of new deflector assembly
Repair was quick, simple and easy. Only tool needed was a phillips head screwdriver. Removal of three screws, remove old deflector, attach/align new deflector, insert screws and tighten. That's all to it. less than 2 minutes.

I need to replace the grass guard on my Ryobi grass trimmer. The model number is worn off because that is where you hold the trimmer. Maybe you can determine the correct part by MFG or serial numbers?
I need the screws as well.
