Does this come with the metal clip that attaches over the top of the shaft to connect the plastic deflector?

Hi Brian, thank you for getting in touch. The part mentioned is just the grass deflector, it does not come with the metal clip. The metal clip you are looking for comes with the straight shaft assembly, part number PS11857293. We hope this helps!
