My ice maker is not making ice. I verified I have good supply water line. No obvious blockage in the small lines in back of fridge. The water dispenser provides water just fine. I can manually cycle the ice maker tray by the pushbutton. The water slide thingy that directs water into the ice tray and the ice tray itself are bone dry. Can this solenoid assembly be the issue of why I’m not getting water flow into the ice tray?

Yes, the solenoid assembly or the water inlet valve, part number PS18374079, is a very likely cause, as it is responsible for controlling water flow to the ice maker. The valve is either blocked or faulty and failing to open when the ice maker calls for water. We hope this helps.
