Easy and absolutely uncomplicated
Part arrived in the timeframe as predicted. Exchange of the water filter head took less than 15 minutes. The new part is improved, the weakness of the old part (cutoff valve if the filter is removed)is solved. Looks different now, Les fragile.

Simple install. Instant fix
Water supply to our water dispenser was down to t trickle at best and nothing at worst. After looking at a few videos on line I was able to find others with the same exact issue. Ordered the part from here and it was delivered in 2 days. Install took less than 30 minutes. Be sure not to over tighten the two screws at the top. It’s not holding the whole fridge together. Just snug them up.

Easy Repair
I needed this because my 14 year old refrigerator line had cracked and was leaking. This was the exact replacement assembly and it is working great. 5 stars because it’s exactly what was ordered and arrived in less time than the site said. No complaints here.

Frig repair
The part came in an acceptable time period, was just what I needed, and got it installed and working again in a short period of time! Probably saved at least a couple hundred dollars by doing the repair myself!

There was no water flow to the ice maker and the water dispensor.
I had to take off the back lower grate which was roughly six 1/4 screws. Disconnect the water lines to the ice maker and the filter manifold. Remove the manifold from the inside of the refrigerator by removing two 1/4” screws. Pull the manifold and line out from the inside of the refrigerator and reverse the process for the replacement.

Apparently and unknown to me the original replacement part was no longer available so I was sent a replacement part.
Before I could start any repairs I first had to adapt the replacement part so it would fit the original application of the part . Tje factory original has two female ends on the water lines , the factory replacement had 1 female and 1male end . This bit of knowledge was not conveyed to me so I had to drive into town as I live out in the c

Little to no water flow from dispenser.
Roll out the refrigerator. Shut off water supply line. Removed the cover on the back bottom of the fridge and the top left of the fridge where the tubes exit. With a towel on the floor, disconnect the tube coming from the fridge and the supply line. Next go inside the fridge. Above the top shelf, remove the water filter and the cover of t

Cracked the head by over tightening the water filter in2 it.
It was much easier than I had anticipated it was going 2B. All it intaled was 2 undue the 2 water lines w/a 1/2 inch wrench, take out the 2 screws on the top of the head on the inside of the refrigerator, then pull it out. I then just slipped the new head in, replaced the 2 screws, replaced the filter (definitely not overly tightening it

After, I went 2 the back of the refrigerator & reconnected the 1 line 2 the fridge & then the other 2 the water supply. "Walla" we were making ice again & able 2 get ice cold water again, also. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes 2 complete & that's bcuz of my limited disabilities. A younger person could probably be able 2 do it possibly faster.
