Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This dishwasher pump and motor assembly is compatible with dishwashers. It is supplied directly by the original manufacturer to ensure that it fits perfectly with your model. The pump and motor are responsible for moving water throughout the dishwasher during the wash cycle. The pump draws water from the tub and pumps it through various channels, such as the detergent dispenser, spray arms, and drain hose. The motor provides the power necessary to drive the circulation pump, causing the pump to rotate and circulate water. If the assembly is faulty, you will notice difficulties starting or filling the dishwasher, poor cleaning performance, incomplete cycles, and water leaks.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money

Whirlpool Dishwasher Motor
Dishwasher stopped allowing water to fill. We needed a replacement motor for our 4-year old dishwasher. Whirlpool has not released the replacement parts for our model but the excellent Customer Service Representative was able to help me find an alternative motor # that woudl work for our model. Has been working great!

My unit is making a grinding noise when the wash cycles run and dishes are not fully cleaned. How do I know if it's a circulation pump issue or a problem with the pump and motor assembly? Thanks
For model number KDTE234GPS0

Kitchenaid dishwasher fills with water but doesn't run the wash cycle. Pumps out the water. Does it need the Pump and Motor Assembly W11665769 or is there a quicker fix?
Thanks
For model number KDTE234GPS0
Hi Craig, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the float switch first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the circulation pump. Before replacing the pump and motor entire assembly, we would suggest replacing the circulation pump, part number PS16744935. We hope this solves your problem!
We have a KitchenAid Dishwasher and it does not pump out the water. It runs and pumps in water but does not pump out water. We have cleaned the filters and still are having this issue. What should a person look for as we live in a rural area without any service depots.
For model number KDFE104HWH1
Hi Denis, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description, we would recommend checking the drain hose if it is clogged. If that is not the case, then you may need to replace the drain pump, part number PS11738151, to fix the issue. Good luck with your repair!
No water to spray arms.
Filter was completely clogged with a fibrous white material… maybe paper towel or hand wipe…. Cleaned filter & below filter. Still doesn’t work. Don’t know what to don next.
Replace circulation pump (W11622327) or the Pump and Motor Assembly (W11665769).
Help!!! Thanks!!!
