How do i know if the filter case assembly is faulty? I donot have ice or water.I here the selunoid working. I also hear ice maker continue try to make ice! the control inside ref. will not allow to change rapid ice! Thank you for your help.
For model number rf27t5201sg
Hi Ken, thank you for reaching out. A faulty filter case assembly can result in a refrigerator's inability to produce ice or water, and can also cause the ice maker to run continuously. If you are experiencing these issues, and suspect a problem with the filter case assembly, it could be due to a clog, improper installation, or a cracked/damaged component. But before replacing the filter case assembly, we would suggest checking the water filter, part number PS17537652. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I replace the water filter and the water pressure from the fridge is very low and the water pressures from the house is fine
What I noticed is the filter older one of the gasket is not sitting properly or exposed is not liking from it so I wonder what’s going on with any recommendations to what to doo if I need to replace the hole assembly or just the filter older
For model number RF27T5201SR
Hi Alex, thank you for reaching out. Ensure the gasket is properly seated. Reinsert the filter, making sure it is fully seated and locked in place. After reinstalling the filter, turn the water supply back on and dispense several gallons of water to purge any trapped air from the lines. Air in the system can cause low flow or sputtering. We hope this information helps!
