Does this part keep the dryer from turning on, not getting any power to control board.
For model number WED5100HW1
Hello George, Thank you for your inquiry. This is the motherboard of the appliance and coordinates the functions of the dryer. If your dryer is not starting, we would recommend checking the thermal fuse (which trips and keeps the dryer from starting if it has overheated), the high limit thermostat and thermal cut off kit, and the internal bias thermostat. We also recommend checking the wiring for any visible damage. Good luck with your repair.
Hi John, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the E2F2 error indicates a problem with the keypad control. First, try resetting the dryer by turning the power off for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the problem persists, you may need to check the control panel, part number PS12745525, as it is most likely faulty. We hope this helps!
Dryer will get stuck in sensing mode before starting and will also stop drying but the screen says it’s still drying
For model number WED5100HW2
Hi Ben, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, we would suggest checking the moisture sensor first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the control board, part number PS16543592. It manages the functions of the dryer such as drying time and temperature. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Our dryer has heat, will run for a couple of loads then will start stoping during the cycle. The screen says “drying” . It will stay that way for awhile and either restart or say cycle is finished. We have first replaced the thermostat internal bios.. next the moisture sensors. We aren’t sure if this part is the next step or not. If you turn it off and try to restart it will countdown and make a click noise. And won’t start. We have cleaned out filter, no clogs. Does not appear to be the door. Any ideas?
