"This fan is found in blowers. The fan is sometimes referred to as an impeller. Blowers use the fan to blow air outward. Air is pulled in through the fan into the housing and blown out through the blower tubes. If you can hear a clicking sound coming from your blower, it might be because a leaf has gotten caught in the fan. The fan blade might also be cracked or damaged and will need to be replaced. The fan is connected to the motor assembly, which will need to be held in place to remove the fan. Make sure you disconnect the spark plug before you start this repair. You'll need to thread an object (rope) through the cylinder to keep the motor assembly from turning. Remove the bolt holding the fan in place. Now position the replacement fan into place. "
