I have ice in the tray, but when I push the lever for the ice to come out the shoot, it make a grinding noise sounds like it is locked up, the ice doesn’t come out?

Hello Nancy, thank you for the great question. The issue seems to be with the ice bucket auger. It rotates to push the ice from the ice container into the dispenser chute. We would suggest you replace the ice bucket auger, part number PS1526550, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
What would cause my 2 year old Frigidaire FFSS2315TS2 front door panel 4 lights to go out? Is there a way to reset back to factory defaults or do I have to replace a specific part?

So I have water to the fridge .. but no water comes out .. has new filter .. is there a water solenoid valve in this unit ? when the paddle is pushed what controls the water flow ? Thx

Hello Timothy, thank you for your question. We would suggest taking a look at your water line first. Make sure it is connected correctly and not broken. If this does not help, you may need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS7784018. It supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator. Also, the switch, part number PS12724042. It controls water when you press the dispenser lever. We hope this solves your problem!
