I have a noisy fan in the wall oven. It now makes noise almost immediately when starting up (it used to start the noise about 450f and stop when at baking temp). It sounds like the fan is hitting the over plate. I tried manually pushing the blades back but to no avail. I'm not convinced i need a new motor (as it seems to be the fan blade hitting the cover). What are your thoughts as to a solution.
For model number PT960SP1SS
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. If you are experiencing noise from your convection fan, there is likely a component of the fan that has come loose or is worn and you will need to take it out and inspect it to see if you can adjust whatever the issue is or verify if you have to replace it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
