Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This knob and dial kit, also known as a timer knob, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washing machine. If your timer will not advance, it needs to be replaced. This kit contains two knobs which are about two inches wide, and one dial, roughly three inches wide. All parts are black in color.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

The knob portion broke off my MIL washer when I pulled it up to turn the wash on. I only need to replace the knob portion. Where can I find the knob only?
For model number LLR6144AW0
Hello Falon, thank you for your question. We have researched the model you have provided, and we would suggest the Timer Knob, part number PS11741244. We hope this helps!
My timer knob spins freely and won't engage or move the arrow to start the cycle. Like the clutch in the knob is broken. Do I have to replace the timer or the knob assembly?
For model number LST7233DQ0
Hello Timothy, thank you for contacting us. Based on the issue you described, it sounds like the problem might be with the knob assembly rather than the timer itself. If the timer knob spins freely and doesn't engage, it is likely that the knob or its internal components are worn or broken. We would recommend checking the knob, part number PS1485614, for damages. If it is found at fault, then replacing it will solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
