Triple Water Inlet Valve WH13X10027

The part I ordered was easy to order. Delivered in a Timey fashion. Straight foward installation.

The part came to me wrapped in bubble wrap and was not damage. The actual replacement of the water valve took less than 30 minutes. The biggest issue I had was unclamping and reclamping the internal water line spring clamp. The part worked as designed...no more static leaks from the cold side.

With the Washing Machine facing me, I took off three machine screws just behind the Machine control panel. That allowed me to slide the panel side ways to bring it up and out. Tilted the panel towards me to expose the Triple Water Inlet Valve assembly. I then unplugged the electrical connector to it then took out the screws to remove it. I installed the replacement and put everything back together. I still could not get the hot water supply to function as I had hoped. I then disconnected the HOT water hose from the water supply line at the back wall behind the machine. Found out that the hose filter was clogged. I cleaned the microscopic junk out of the filter screen at the end of this hose and re-installed the hose back to the HOT water supply line, this restored the HOT water function to fill the Wash Tub. Machine is up and running like new. Though I replaced the water valve assy. I may have also removed a possible junk problem within the old water valve assy. itself, replacing the old water valve

Arrived quickly and easy install. Quickly resolved a constant water leak from the washing machine, which flooded the machine unless the main water was shut off.

Part I ordered was exactly the same as the one I removed so putting the new part in was not a problem. However, shipping was a huge problem. The part was to go via Fedex but instead I had to go to 2 U.S. Post Office and I can not locate my part. I finally located the part in my P.O. box . My input on this is that why such a small part had to be shipped via Fedex. to my physical address when I have a P.O.box ? I would rather have my shipment of ordered parts ship directly to my P.O box, it would be faster and cheaper. Fedex only service in my rural area once a week.
