Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This dishwasher main and tactile board kit functions as the central control system for the appliance, managing all primary operations such as water intake, wash cycles, drying functions, timing, and user input. The kit combines the main electronic control board with the tactile interface, allowing cycle selections and commands from the control panel to be accurately processed and displayed. When these components begin to fail, common symptoms can include unresponsive buttons, cycles stopping mid-operation, failure to start, or erratic behavior during operation. Replacing the control board and touch interface together helps restore reliable communication between internal components, ensures proper cycle execution, and returns the dishwasher to consistent, dependable performance.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

So easy, even a caveman could do it... if he had a dishwasher
Parts were packed perfectly! No damage to report and I received the parts earlier than promised. The instructions were easy to follow and parts were easy to install. Saved $360+ installing the parts myself I highly recommend this replacement part. I will be ordering from Partselect in the future! Thank you!

Unit would not turn on
Changed the main chip. the unit then started and continuously ran. Thought something was wrong with it. It is just a cycle of the dishwasher and when the pump quit running the dishwasher ran and operates. Saved me lots of money and time.

Dishwasher Wouldn't Start
The original problem was that the dishwasher wouldn't start or respond to any button presses. The Clean light stayed on consistently, but nothing else would happen.
I replaced the main board and control board, which really just involved taking apart the door, unplugging three wires, replacing the boards, then plugging the thre
... Read moree wires back in.
After I did that and plugged everything back in, the Clean light flashed, and the dishwasher started beeping. It wouldn't respond to any controls, aside from the fact that pressing the Start button stopped the beeping.
Symptoms: - Just replaced Control Board - Clean light blinks - Start button stopped beeps - No other buttons did anything
Resolution: re-read the instructions that came with the board.
There's a step that says "Transfer model selector plug to the new control board". If you look on your old main board, right by the power connection is a plug that you're supposed to remove from the old board and put on the new board.
I had originally skimmed through the instructions thinking "this looks super easy", so I didn't look at it in detail until I had a problem.
Dishwasher works perfectly now.

Would not cycle from "wash", just kept running
As per instructions, any one that can read and use basic hand tools could do it. Very nice color instructions. BTW, this was an excellent value, $20 cheaper than two of the other parts houses I checked. Super fast shipping

No Power to the controls
I do a lot of home repairs but I never worked on an appliance before. I simply removed the six phillips screws holding the inside cover on and then no tools. I poped open the cover over the mother board that was burned due to a power spike, unplugged it and plugged up the new one and poped it all back together. In hind sight I should have

Dishwasher will only drain upon unusual combinations of pressed control keys. The drain pump is fine and there are no obstructions. New circuit board needed?

cycles through all phases of wash cycle but does not wash cycle.
For model number GLD4900P00CC
Hi Bill, thank you for contacting us. We would suggest checking the motor wash pump assembly, part number PS3652479. It is an essential component of the dishwashing cycle, propelling water through the spray arms for immaculate cleaning. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
