This is a damper assembly for various top-load models of Samsung washing machines. This assembly is used to stabilize your washing machine during periods of high-speed spin cycles. If your washing machine is imbalanced or you notice a lot of noise and banging is produced while your washer is in use, this damper support rod may be damaged or worn down and in need of replacing. Washing machines normally feature one support rod at each corner of the washer, so four in total. Depending on your machine and its problems, you may need to replace all four support damper rods. To replace this support rod, you will need a screwdriver to gain access to the rod(s) themselves, and proper hand protection to safely remove the support rods, and the spring end of the rod is to be installed at the bottom of the washing machine. This damper rod measures approximately 28 inches long and is sold individually so it does not include any other parts or accessories.
