Does this part come completely assembled?

It stores the ice until needed and comes with an auger that rotates to move the ice into the dispenser chute. About 6 months after I had this fridge/freezer combo the ice maker no longer would make cubes. On the cube setting it shoots out shredded ice, but not the same way as when on the crushed ice setting. When this started there were some 1-2” pieces of plastic which came out of the dispenser. Should I replace the entire ice bucket? Thank you!
