Stove is displaying error code "F720". GE error code guide says oven touchpad is probably the cause. Is there a diagnostic method to test the touchpad before replacing?

Hello Derek, thank you for the great question. The error code "F720" indicates the oven control and overlay assembly, part number PS12716513, is defective and will need to be replaced. To check if its defective or not, first check if power is reaching the control board or not using a multimeter. Check the wires connected to it. Look for signs of burns or board failure, flickering numbers, unresponsive touchpad or dead buttons. We hope this helps.
