Microwave slowly degraded over a short time span in functional reliability evidenced by a jumpy digitron display that eventually went all black followed by dial options that also disappeared. I ordered a replacement digitron board (hasn't arrived), but since then noticed that even the cavity light does not turn on. Could this point to the Relay Board or Power Ctl Board vs. the Digitron Board? It looks like power for the cavity light comes off the Relay Board which is why I mention that one first.

Hello Bart, thank you for getting in touch. You will need to check the relay board, part number PS12725850, and the power board, part number PS1020967. The relay that controls the cavity light is faulty, the light won't receive power. Coil failure is a frequent problem with relays, which can be caused by a malfunctioning relay, a poor connection, or insufficient voltage. If the power supply to the relay board is interrupted, the light won't work either. This might be the result of a blown fuse, a malfunctioning part of the power supply, or an issue with the internal circuitry of the board. We hope this helps.
