The burner head is in 2 parts. When I took them apart to clean, there was a gasket made of thin cardboard between the 2 parts. Because it was cardboard or paper, the gasket was destroyed. Does that gasket necessary to be replaced? Their part doesn’t appear to be available.
For model number JDRP436HL01
Hi Patrick, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research on your model, there is no gasket required between the burner head, part number PS12711721 and the surface burner cap, part number PS12711704. We hope this helps.
The burner got wet so when I took the two pieces apart, it had a felt/cardboard piece in between that was destroyed. When I put it back together after cleaning the burner lights, but it sounds like air is also flowing out with the gas making a loud noise, is that Piece replaceable or do I have to buy all new burner?
For model number JGCP636HL00
Hello Robin,
Thank you for writing in. Yes the cardboard piece is very integral to the burner and is not sold separately. The Burber head will need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
