Replacing the brush box assembly is a straightforward process, requiring only a screwdriver and a set of pliers. Begin by disconnecting your sander from its power source, whether it is a battery or a wall outlet. Next, remove the screws securing the main housing of the sander and locate the brushes inside. Use a set of pliers to disconnect the wire from the old brush and a flat-head screwdriver to lift the old brush out of its slot. Insert the new brush box assembly into the slot and connect its wires. Finally, reattach the sander outer housing and secure it with the screws.
