Microwave would say open and close door.
Removed panel and installed upper and lower switches. I did this because it did not do it all the time. When I removed the switches I used a ohms meter to check continuity but they all checked out at first then I started playing around with the buttons on each switch by pushing in on them and letting off and found one when you pushed in
... Read more and out three or four times that one switch would jump back and forth by ohms meter that was the bad switch. If any one else has that problem the switch might show continuity when you first test but click the switch button a few times to see if you get a different reading. Microwave up running. I need the part numbers to replace both the upper and lower door interlock switch assemblies. (include switch holder)

I am getting an intermittent CK Time and Open/Close door, and I can eventually start the microwave after opening and closing the door a number of times. From what I'm reading here, the door switch(es) are the culprit. Do I replace one or both, and is PS12349017 a kit or do I need to order two of them?

When you close door light comes on and you can hear a fan running.. microwave still works great for everything else

At end of cycle when door is closed, light remains on and I can hear internal fan running. opening door turns off internal fan.

Depending on the temperature inside the microwave oven after a cooking cycle ends, the cooling fan may continue to run for some time in order to cool the microwave oven. The turntable may also continue to rotate and the light may stay on during this time. This is normal. The door may be opened at any time to add or remove food, and/or to start another cooking cycle. When I try to use microwave it says open/close door. I believe from what I have read that there are 3 switches for the door. 2 for open door and 1 for close door. Would you be able to give me the part numbers needed to replace all switches. Yes, I know they may not all be not working. Just for reference. Thank you

Is this the upper or lower? I don’t know which switch is failing me but I am okay with buying both upper and lower but it isn’t clear which one this is. I have the intermittent problem of the microwave claiming the door is open and it isn’t.

Would a upper door latch switch cause no power to the microwave?
Hi Brian, Thank you for the question. Normally no power to the appliance would indicate a blown fuse. The Door switch would prevent the appliance from running while the door is open, but it would still power on. We hope this helps!
