The stove top still works fine but there's no power to the clock or display and the oven or broiler doesn't work either. It started with a E something code then later nothing.

Hello Michele, thank you for your inquiry. Based on your symptoms, it sounds like the control board may be the culprit, as it controls the clock/display and the bake and broil features in the oven. The stovetop has it's own switches for the elements. The control board compatible with your model is PartSelect Number PS16555207. If i set up my oven ( buy in 2016) for like 350, 250, 175 or whatever ....he start very quickly to heat like crazy and non-stop everyting burn in 5 minutes. but, if i look at the electronic display it stay for exemple at 175 if set up the oven at 175. i looked at some webside and i saw that it is very commun problems with whirpool oven...so do i have to change the control panel ? or i try to change another piece before ? ty ...and sorry for my english ...my first language is french
