your diagram says this is part 59 in the diagram. good but i also need the part labeled 60 the spring that holds the flap in place. does part 59 come with part 60, or must #60 be ordered separately?

Part W10672680 broke. How important is this part. What is its function? Is it very necessary to replace the part?

Hello Larry, Thank you for the question. The Lint Cover Door helps the Lint Screen to stay in place and collect lint properly. If the Filter is not properly seated it will catch on clothes and break or rip your clothing. It will also allow lint to pass through into the Duct and over time can create a lint build up and a fire hazard. We suggest having the Cover Door replaced. The dryer inlet cover has come off my Maytag dryer, both sides. Serial # w10219016. One is marked with a #1 the other #3. I can't figure out how to put them both back in?
