Hi.I have a Frigidaire cooking range model cfef3014lwc and the oven bake element is not heating.I replaced the element with a new one but this did not solve the problem.I need your help to know which part needs to be replaced.
For model number CFEF3014LWC
Mustapha, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. Good luck with your repair.

If the control board is no good will some of the functions still work broil still works but the bake element will not heat replaced and still have the same it will get warm but that is all
For model number CFEF3014LWC
Hello Trudy, thank you for your question. Yes, the board would be the most likely issue. If the broil works, but the broil is not heating to temp and that element has been replaced, the board should be replaced. I hope this helps.

With the oven on the left front (large burner) gets red hot and can not control temperature.Stays red hot in simmer position.
For model number TEF351EWP
Hi Virgil, thank you for your question. Be sure to cut power to your appliance and remove any parts before doing tests. There are a couple of parts that could cause this issue specifically. You will need a multi meter to be able to test the parts. The first part you will want to check is your element. It should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. It could also be your wiring that is the issue but you should see visual damage on that part in most cases. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I started to clean my oven and immediately switched from the 3 hr. Mode to the quick clean 2 hr. Mode before the door locked. I now get an f30 code and the oven shuts off when i turn it on. Could this have possibly blown the electronic clock/timer part number, ps2581862 on my Frigidaire fefl79dqa oven? I am hoping it may only be the sensor
Hello Brenda, Thank you for the question. The F30 error code means the oven thinks the oven is too hot. This can be caused by a bad oven sensor or a bad display relay control board. I suggest testing the sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!

Was cooking and stove just stopped working.
For model number lfef3017lwd
Hello Elisha, thank you for writing. This is most likely due to a faulty Oven Electronic Control Board. This part number PS12114577 is the correct replacement for your model range. You may also want to consider the Oven Probe, part number PS1528542. You can test the Oven Probe at room temperature with a multimeter. Measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read between 1080-1090 ohms to be functioning correctly. Good luck with your repair!

Module blew out on clock timer
Needed just a screw driver, removed the top back cover and unplugged two wire sets. Four screws and the mother board was off. My only problem was the facial front ended up pulling off some of the almond color when I pulled it off, even after I used a heat gun to soften the glue. Besides that it was very easy to fix and the range works perfectly again.

    Runaway oven temp
After replacing the oven temp sensor, with no success of correction, i purchased and installed the electronic control board. After turning off the power at the breaker and unplugging the stove, I simply removed the top back cover, unclipped the wiring harness, unhooked the 5 oven element wires(writing the color and order for easier reconnection), removed the screws, carefully peeled the face plate off the old control board and re-installed everything in reverse order. Took me all of ten minutes and the oven works like new again.
