when replacing a control board must you also replace the overlay?

Hi Carlos, thank you for your inquiry. The control board, part number PS16745859, can be replaced separately if there is no issue with the existing overlay and the touch buttons are working properly. To replace the control panel, you may need to remove the control panel back shield by unscrewing the screws holding it. Remove the screws holding the control board and detach the wires. Peel off the overlay from the old board and attach it to the new one. We hope this information helps!
