DRYER WILL NOT SHUT OFF, WILL THIS PART FIX IT ??

Hello Charlie, thank you for getting in touch. A clogged lint screen or vent hose restricts airflow, which can cause the dryer to overheat and run continuously. If the vent line is clogged or partially clogged, it will restrict the airflow through the dryer, substantially increasing the drying time and cabinet temperature. To ensure proper dryer performance, you should clean your dryer's venting system. If this does not help, you will need to replace the timer, to fix the issue. The timer comes with control board assembly, part number PS12080767. We hope this helps.
