This is a genuine Char-Broil replacement part. This cooking grate is made of black porcelain cast iron and was designed for use with select models of grill as a cooking surface. Grills can become worn or rusted over time, eventually requiring replacement. No tools are required to replace this part. Simply life the current grate out of the grill and set the new one in place.
