Hello Doug, thank you for reaching out. The fridge thermistor sends temperature readings to the control board. If it fails or reports inaccurate temperature, the control board may stop sending cold air to the fridge, even if the freezer is working fine. You will need to replace the thermistor part number PS11775596. We hope this helps.

Is this part interchangeable for fridge and freezer? Which thermistor makes the evaporator heater start or stop?
For model number FFHB2750TD6
Hello Robert, thank you for getting in touch. The part you are looking for is the defrost thermostat, part number PS12729016. The defrost thermostat makes the evaporator heater start or stop by sensing the evaporator coil's temperature and signaling the control board to activate or deactivate the defrost heater. We hope this helps.
I have an OF code wondering what the problem is. I tried to reset for five minutes unplugging it plugging it back in reappears.
For model number FFH17F7HWE
Hello Moe, thank you for getting in touch. The 0F error code indicates a faulty thermistor, part number PS977306, or the associated wiring issue. Check the wires connected to the thermistor or associated to it. Look for loose or damaged wires. Inspect the thermistor, if it is faulty, replace it. We hope this helps.
