I was looking for the ice chute ,the ice and water use to dispense one side broke is this what i have to order the whole thing?

Is this the part that will make the ice maker drop ice into the ice bin? Mine presently is not dropping the ice. The water and crushed feature works but I could not dispense cubed ice when the ice maker was full of ice.

Hello George, Thank you for the question. The Paddle that tells the Ice Maker to drop the Ice Cubes into the Ice Bucket is only sold as part of the Ice Maker Assembly, PartSelect Number PS16221322. This Dispenser and Paddle dispense the Ice that is already in the Ice Bucket into your Cup. We hope this helps!
The problem I have is the paddle is loose and dispense water when left door is open then closed.i

Thank you for your question. If the paddle on the dispenser is loose, try tightening it with a screw driver. If this does not help, you will need to replace it. The paddle or actuator can be sold separately. The part number listed under your model number for the actuator is PS11704150. Both cube and crushed ice work but water will not dispense. When in water mode it doesn’t sound as if the water system is engaging when trying to dispense.

We would recommend checking the following parts to fix the issue: water inlet tube, part number PS3633240, dispenser and paddle, part number PS11770405, and control assembly, part number PS12724157. The actuator for water and ice no longer shuts off automatically. I found a small spring, loose inside the assembly that appears to attach to a hinge on the clear plastic ice chute. It looks like something has broken off the hinge as there is a jagged edge and there is nothing for the spring to push against to close the actuator. Can I buy the chute or am I looking at an assembly?
