The beeper on my oven stopped working even though the panel setting show it on. Is it a standalone part or integrated into a control board?
For model number JT5500SF3SS
Hi Mark, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, the beeper does not come separately, you may need to replace the entire control board, part number PS11725202. We hope this helps! If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.
Without consulting the manual, i attempted to change the bulb in the upper oven by removing the socket from the oven rather than just removing the glass cover. In the process one of the wires touched the oven and shorted out the socket. Everything still works except the upper light. Did i short out the secondary board (part 270 in the diagram)? Thanks
For model number jb860dj2bb
Hi Tom,
Thank you for your question. It is possible you may have shorted out the board, you will need to test it with a multimeter to see if it is working correctly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Vasilii, thank you for reaching out. This relay control board receives signals from the main oven control board. The relay control board operates relays to regulate the oven elements. Oven is not new but now we get a chemical smell when preheating either top or bottom oven. Oven may be overheating? What part other than control board should I consider replacing?
For model number JT3500DF2BB
Hello Calvin, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the issue is most probably with the temperature sensor, part number PS8754411. It measures the temperature inside the oven and sends the information to the control board. We would recommend checking the temperature sensors in the upper and lower oven and replace the faulty one. We hope this helps!
