I am thinking of switching out the black door on our Bosch dishwasher to stainless steel. Is this the correct part number for our unit and is there more than one shade of stainless steel? PS11758442
Also is this an OEM part from Bosch?

Hi Dominic, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the outer door panel in stainless steel, you have mentioned, can be replaced by outer door panel part number PS12367036, in black stainless steel. The handle in black stainless steel comes separately. Its part number is PS12368110. We hope that helps!
Please confirm if the part in diagram 210 (door panel) come with the parts in diagram 211 (screws) and 213 (handle).

Hello! I have recently had to switch up my stove and refrigerator, i changed it to black stainless, now my wonderful bosh looks out of place. Can i get an outer door in a different finish? White? Black? Black stainless? Or is there a way to refinish it? You are the best!! looking forward to your reply!

Is it really difficult for a semi-novice to change out the door? We just changed our appliances to stainless from black, but this dishwasher is only 2 years old and we don't feel like we need a new one yet. We have a contractor who is doing work for us, but want to make sure this isn't more than he can handle. Also, this door is stainless, right? Thanks!

Thank you for your question. It is generally a pretty easy repair actually. We do not have any information on your part specifically, however dishwasher doors are pretty much installed the same way. Is this the actual outside “door” panel? There is some acid stains on mine that won’t come off and i just want the front of it to look fresh again

The stainless steel replacement door indicates it does NOT have a pocket handle. I think I need one. Also does it come with install instructions? How difficult is it to install?
