Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This flexible black refrigerator door gasket is designed to form a secure, airtight seal around the inner door panel of compatible refrigerator models. By pressing firmly against the cabinet frame, it helps maintain consistent internal temperatures, prevents warm air from entering, and supports optimal energy efficiency. The gasket also plays a key role in minimizing frost buildup by keeping humid air out of the appliance. A worn or damaged gasket can lead to air leaks, reduced cooling performance, and increased energy consumption. Installation involves removing the old gasket, aligning the new one along the door perimeter, and pressing it into the designated groove for a snug fit.
