The black seal on door came off, and now the dryer drum continues to turn when door is open, so i was wondering if this was the part

i bought item number 7 for the door, but it came off real easy and the door was opening by it self. Wondering need the steel door gasket?

Thank you for your question. If the door is not sealing correctly after replacing the door seal, you may also need to replace the other door seal, part number PS3407445. You should also check the door catch, part number PS11741434, and the strike, part number PS12723934, to see if they are damaged or broken.
