Introducing the COIL-VALVE, a true genuine OEM part from the trusted brand Whirlpool. This essential set functions as the dryer's gas valve coil, responsible for opening the gas valves while your dryer runs. Ensure a safe and efficient operation, as this kit is perfect for most models of Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Inglis, and Magic Chef dryers. Though the parts may look identical, remember that size and shape can have slight variations. This kit may contain multiple parts, refer to your parts diagram for a complete list. Always remember, safety first - turn off your gas supply and unplug your dryer before installation.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

I am experiencing the dryer occasionally tripping the 20 amp breaker for the electrical outlet. I have checked the amperage draw and it has a momentary draw of 35 amps before settling into a 6 amp draw. The dryer heats fine and there are no squeals or noises from the motor. Could this be a faulty valve coil ? or could it be a complete faulty gas valve unit ? Thank you.
For model number WGD4616FW1
Hello Jeff, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, the gas valve coil, part number PS11752967, could be a reason your dryer is drawing more than normal amps. Over time, the coils can develop tiny cracks or lose continuity when they get hot. If a coil is failing, it may work initially when cold but fail after it gets warm. Replace it to fix the issue. We hope this helps.

My dryer has heat but it takes at least 2 hrs for bulky items. Towels always need at least 20 min more on high. Vents are clean and open, Lint screens are clean. Would this be a good first part to replace to get faster dry times? If so, do you have a video for replacement? I dont see any videos on line for this model. Thanks.
